The End of My Driving Test

17th Mac 2008, Time= 6.40am, waking up after been sleeping for 6 hours. I was bathing and eating my breakfast as fast as my metabolism is "working" inside my body. then, I've reach the driving school at 7.20am which i was suppose to be there at 7.30am. 1 of the instructor was placing identity cards for the ppl who r taking the test today & managed to get mine which was in front of me. then, the eager-to-take-the-test ppl including me waited for an announcement till 8.30am. 1 instructor told us the rules of taking the test, what to do after taking it & wait. THAT'S IT. WAIT.
Half an hour later, the registration counter have opened & every1 was rushing through to get registered 1st. I was among the 100+ ppl to get registered to take the test. After getting registered & taken a number, we're suppose to WAIT again for our numbers to be called out from an old speaker box. at 9.10am, finally my numbers called out and some few too. we have to go to a 'pondok' to where we will sit for the slope test. Before my turn, me including the others have a look at some who are taking the slope test. Some pass, some failed to stop at the top. Few minutes later, an instructor called me out to do the test. I was driving a blue Kancil car and guess what? THE CLUTCH WAS SO SENSITIVE TO RELEASE IT. After letting it go a little bit, the engine STOP. STOP. Believe it. On my 1st try, i realize that i was over the yellow line, luckily the officer told me to do 1 more time. At my second time, it was PURRFECT. I took the car down & went to the 'pondok' where i have to take my result.

Later, I bring it to another officer who in charge of the parking and 3 Point turn test. When i'm done, i took back the copied results & sign it. I was happy to see it. After that, those who have complete thetest have to go for the road test & wait for our numbers to be called out AGAIN.

It was not surprising. Except I have to wait for 4 HOURS for my turn. Including the others too. I went into another Kancil car which is more hi-tech than the 1 i used for the slope test. Firstly, greet the officer, check the car's functionality & ready to go. Iwas a bit nervous coz there's a 'Pegawai' testing me on my driving skill. I was going a little bit fast at 1st, then slowed down a bit. Making turning, changing gear, then went back to the driving school which take only 15 minutes. The officer checking out my skills and gave some passes & failed marks for each categories. Then, he showed me and i receive an overall 16/20 marks which of course, the compulsory marks to pass the test. I thanked the officer and went out putting a Devil sign. It was as magnificent day it was. Now I would need to WAIT AGAIN to for another week to get my P license which is currently proceeding. It was a FANTASTIC day.

SPM results

12 Mac 2008, Time=9.30am, that's the time i went to my old school which is SMJK Katholik. all ex-students were suppose to come there at 10am to receive their results but in the end, some ppl said they will distribute it at 11.30am. so i went to my friends to join them at Kanna Curry House. every1 was sitting there 'yam cha', talk crab, jokes n so on. we all went back to the school at 10.30am to see if any1 were present. by the time we reach there, wechat with our frens who just came back from NS. realli miss them a lot. at 11 am, almost the SPM leavers were there. by the time it was 11.30am, ANOTHER said it's been delayed till 12pm. i was like F@#K. i mean, how can they expect us to wait for a few more minutes. at 12.10pm, finally all of us went to the school hall and queue up into our respective class line. then every1 was shouting n screaming to their former class teachers. after a short brief abt the percentage of ppl who pass each subject, it was time to receive the result. the girls were screaming. and my results got 3 A1's for the most important subject: English, Mathematics and Science. i was overjoyed and happy with coz this is my hardwork been paid off.
After that, some frens n i went to A&Wto celebrate our hardwork n for lunch.then, it's time to say goodbye wish thatwe will see each other again some time.
After some sleep, my parents went to a restaurant to celebrate my results and drinking tea. XD. n that end my article here. the end.

1st Day At Work

At sharp 10am, arriving for work called Dynamic Search Research Division. in the office, i was ordered to call citizen's number for the contest called 'Chipster New Year, New Galore' and suppose to ask them questions before they win their prizes. some passed and won RM20, RM100, RM500 & RM1000 and some failed to win it.

1:00pm, went for lunch for 40 minutes, eating burger at McDonald all alone and went back to the office to continue calling unknown citizen's number again. totally boring and i have to record the conversation with them to prove they are worth to win the prize.
4:45pm, i have finish my working time but i have to continue my work the next day. signing my name and time to leave the office, i thank the director for letting me work here. and that went on till i get my SPM results back. that's all.

Feeling Lonely.....

My oh my.... it's been 5 days since my sis left to Australia. here i am, all alone with my parents and my small house. well, i used to be alone when i was standard 4. just sitting in the house doing nothing and wait for time to fly past me. Anyway, Valentine's Day is coming nearer and i don't even have a date 'cuz i plan myself to study for my SPM examination and not getting a gf. currently waiting for the results to be back, get into college, make new friends and hopefully get a girlfriend so that i get to gain more experience of becoming a loyal person. haha. although my life is boring but i try to live up my body nerves system and get hype to get out of the "box" which is full of grey colour and the emptiness inside of me.

Celebrating Chinese New Year at Max's house

9th of Feb 2008 at 11:30am, dressing up to get ready to visit my good friend, Max to his house. his parents was nice and all of other friends from CHS came too. we had a wonderful time over there. we played his PlayStation 3 which is awesome as that is the 1st time i've seen it. the game graphics was out of this world and played with a wide HDTV screen. now that's the best combo to play with.
1:40pm, all of us went down the stairs to have lunch. the food was great. all of us had spaghetti covered with cheese sauce and slices of sausage, fried chicken &fish, sausages and a bowl of salad.
after that, we went up again and decided to play Pictionary. i can still hear the laughter and chatter in my head. then, we played PS3 again.
at 6pm, i was about to leave but Max and his colleague went out for frisbee. so we ask his younger brother to say thanks to him and his parents. his mother was generous to give us ang pow & no, i won't tell how much she gave us. haha. anyway, it was wonderful to be friends with him.

Introduction & A Happy And Sad Chinese New Year

Ahh.... FINALLY, i have created my very 1st blog for the 1st time. I was suppose to create 1 on my birthday which is the 5th of Feb 2008 but i have been busy doing chores like cleaning up my house, bake cookies, wash clothes and etc etc. well, now i'm here to introduce myself. the name's James Loke but i prefer Yew Fai as that is my real name. a Horse born guy in the Chinese calendar. horoscope is Aquarious, loves to make frens from anyone, going outdoor activities, shopping and so on. actually i don't blog at 1st because it's kinda boring but after reading other people's blog, it looks fun. and so, this is my 1st post.
On the 6th of Feb, my older sis, who is 23 now, was packing her travelling bags as she is now doing her degree in Australia for a year.it's kinda sad for me n my parents because this is the 1st time 1 of our families left the house for year. so that's just leaves me, my dad and my mother. after having our reunion dinner at 5pm as we have to be at the airport 3 hours earlier before her flight, we quickly get dressed, put her bags in the car boot and rush to the airport. There, her friends who is also going to further studies were checking in together with my sister. At exactly 8:13pm, one of her friends took our family pic and was time to go. we hug and we saw my sis and her friends went into the flight entrance. yes, it was a sad that moment but the environment is still the same. only time waits for my sis to come back.
7th of Feb, the 1st Chinese New Year was a blast. waking up at 9am, get ready to the temple to pray, have our breakfast at mamak, and time to visit my cousins. it was fun to see them again after few months the same old tradition we've been doing every year. chatting, eating snacks, watch tv and so on. the noise was wonderful, the children get ang pow and me too. today my "allowance" was little but i have to wait these few more days to visit all of my cousins not for the ang pow but talking with them too. my cousins gave an extra ang pow for my sis when she come back. After the tiredness of visiting, huge headache came to me as the sun was freaking hot. after a good short rest, my family eat dinner and now we're waiting for my father's friend and his family come to our house. that's all for today. gotta go.
